FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How long have you been a florist?
    I completed my Certficiate III in Floristry in 2017, and have been working in the industry ever since. I have significant experience in the retail, funeral, event and wedding industries.
  • Where are you located?
    I work out of my studio located in Seaford. For online deliveries, I deliver within 25km of my studio. I absolutely love travelling, so for weddings and events, I am available Victoria and Australia wide!
  • Do you do deliveries?
    Recently, as of July 1st 2024, we have removed our online deliveries and are shifting our focus to events and weddings. However, once a month we will be offering bouquet collection and delivery. The dates for this will be shared to our Instagram story and added to our highlights, so be sure to head to @bloomsbyem on Instagram to be notified!
  • How far in advance can I enquire?
    You can enquire as soon as you like! I can reserve your date in advance and provide you with a ballpark price point, however I do not provide set quotes until 6-9 months out from your wedding. This is because so much can change in that time. Availability and wholesale pricing can vary incredibly within the floral industry, and by quoting too far in advance I may be over or under charging you.
  • Is there a minimum spend?
    I don't currently require a minimum spend for wedding florals, however I don't do venue/on-site deliveries or installations unless the floral spend is over $1500. I will deliver items to residential addresses at an extra charge, even if the floral spend is under $1500.
  • Do you deliver and install the flowers?
    I do! I'm available Victoria and Australia wide for weddings that require on-site delivery and installation, and this will be charged based on distance from Seaford and the amount of labour involved with the installations.
  • Do you come and pack everything up?
    Pack-down is something I offer to each of my clients if they require it. This is charged based on distance from Seaford, and whether I need to stay in the vicinity of the wedding to avoid excess travel to and from my studio and the venue.   • What is your pricing?
    All wedding and event florals are priced based on individual requirements, however you can head to our Our Packages page to see some of our various options and starting prices.
  • What are your hiring policies?
    If you have hired from Blooms By Em, you will be required to pay a bond for the items. This bond will be kept until the items have been returned to us in Seaford. If you have included pack-down in your wedding/event, we will take the hired items with us at the end of the event and return the bond to you within 2-5 business days.
  • How do I book you?
    The best way to book me for your wedding or event is to submit an enquiry via our Weddings & Events page. Alternatively, you can send an email to emily@bloomsbyem.net. Please include your wedding/event date, venue, what you require and any inspiration you may have. Please note - it can take up to 3-5 business days to get a response.
